Please note on bulk collection days that only six items will be collected per month per household, including trash bags. Regarding recent service disruptions, the repeated delays in collection from Republic Services have been frustrating and disappointing. Unfortunately, in our outreach to neighboring cities, delays resulting from workforce shortage is a problem that many other communities are experiencing, regardless of service provider. We have been in ongoing communication with Republic’s local representatives to address these issues. They have recently hired additional staff, and as they complete their training, they will be added to cover our routes. Republic has indicated they anticipate improvement in their service in the next few weeks. In the interim, Republic Services is requesting that yard waste be temporarily placed in your trash can. We are documenting delays and issues with service and reporting resident comments to the company. While we work with Republic Services to find a solution, we appreciate your continued patience.
